For a mere $14 a person or $25 for two, you can spend an evening sampling the foods that made Katzinger’s Katzinger’s, Yep, these are the goodies that have been favorites for 25 years and that quarter century isn’t chopped liver! We’ll take you through our best selling (and favorite) sandwiches -#1, #11 and others. You’ll taste and learn about two of our best selling cheese – Emmenthaler Swiss and Parmesan Reggiono . We’ll have latkes and kugel and the only real authentic Honeycup mustard. We can’t deny turtles, fudgies and blondie brownies their place at the table and , Dr. Brown’s cream soda. And, in homage to the deli Specialty Foods Classic, we’ll throw in an extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar and a mild creamy goat cheese. Some of you may remember how hard it was for me to get the public to even taste goat cheese 25 years ago ( A few even curled their lip at me!). My how far we’ve come.
